It's Been A While

Hey guys, whoever reads this anymore, I haven't been posting lately. I'm really sorry! I've been so busy!! (more on that later) But for now I just want to check in, make sure you all know I'm still alive. :)

Until Morning Comes

I wrote this a few minutes ago, if you have any questions feel free to ask me.

As I sit, watching the sunset, I laugh at the irony. The irony of the sunset in my past. There were no major triggers, almost peaceful actually, Then I found myself as I am now, in the dark, the nighttime. No flashlight, few stars, all alone. Then I found myself running, running from the darkness. You can’t run from night, I know that only now, now that I’ve tried it. Why couldn’t I have learned from other’s mistakes? The nighttime got to be to much for me, I couldn’t feel anything but the blackness, the nothingness. I picked up a blade. Better to feel pain then nothing, right? I would look at the ‘stars’ in my life; my family, my friends, my abilities. When one of those ‘stars’ faded I would slide the blade across my arm or ankle. I would feel the pain and see the blood. I know better now. Now I know that, someday, morning will come. So for now I will sit and wait this night through, enjoying each star. Until morning comes.

Beauty and the Beast!

So, as I mentioned before, my stake is doing a musical. It's Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Me and my dad are in it. Dad is Cogsworth and I'm playing my flute in the orchastra. The first performance was yesterday. The next performances are tomorrow (Thursday), Friday, and Saturday at 7:00. There is also a performance Saturday at noon. I think that Friday night and Saturday afternoon shows are sold out, but I'm not sure. If you want to come the tickets are $3.50 each. It's so cool and I think that everyone should come see it! My dad has posted some pictures of the cast so check out his blog!

Lots of things

My cousin Bailey came over to my house on Presidents Day. She had lots of fun. We played with Sammy and went to the park. Our stake is doing a musical, Beauty and the Beast. I'm playing my flute and my dad is Cogsworth the clock. Nicole and I went to Jonas Brothers the 3D concert experience yesterday. It was awesome! You can also see me playing my song at the recital.

Going to California !

I get to visit my cousins in San Diego! Sariah, Kaylee, Tysie, Paige, Aunt Amber, and Uncle Loren. I paid for the plane ticket all by myself and I'm going all by my self!! Shanna and Damon bought me some books to read on the plane. A paperback copy of Twilight, I'd Tell You I Love You but Then I'd Have to Kill You, and Cross My Heart and Hop to Spy. Thank you Shanna and Damon!!! I'm leaving on Tuesday morning and I'll post more when I get there!!!

Emma's Play, The Farm, and My Flute Recital

Yesterday I went to Wheeler Farm with my family and a few homeschool friends. It was pretty fun and there were lots of animals there. We saw pigs, horses, sheep, and cows. There were also lots of birds. On Wednesday Emma preformed in a play. It was with a homeschool group called YASA. She was Reepicheep, a mouse in The Chronicles of Narnia. She did a really good job.

I'm Anna Marie. I'm home schooled and I love to read. Some of my favorite books are the Twilight series, Harry Potter, and Maximum Ride. My favorite subject in school is science. I play the piano and the flute. I have been playing piano since I was 8 and flute for almost two and a half years. I have a little brother and a little sister. The only pet that we have is a blue parakeet.
